How LIUBA handles your data.

Overview

LIUBA is designed to respect your privacy. The aesthetic profiling flow in the free version runs entirely in your browser. No personal data is transmitted to any server during the free flow.

1. Data processing on this website

Server log files

The hosting provider (STRATO AG, Pascalstraße 10, 10587 Berlin, Germany) automatically collects and stores information in server log files that your browser transmits to us. These are:

  • Browser type and version
  • Operating system
  • Referrer URL
  • Hostname of the accessing device
  • Time of the server request
  • IP address

This data is not merged with other data sources. The basis for data processing is Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure and stable operation of the website). Log files are typically deleted after 7 days.

SSL/TLS encryption

This website uses SSL/TLS encryption for security. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the “https://” prefix and the lock symbol in your browser’s address bar.

2. Free flow (no account required)

In your browser (localStorage):

  • Your choices during the aesthetic flow
  • A random session identifier

This data is stored exclusively in your browser. It is not transmitted to our servers. You can delete it at any time by clearing your browser’s localStorage or by clicking “Start again” in the flow.

On our server:

  • Nothing. The free flow is fully client-side.

3. Premium features (account required)

When you create an account for premium features, we process:

  • Email address — to identify your account and communicate with you
  • Display name — to personalize your experience
  • Password — stored as a bcrypt hash, never in plain text
  • Aesthetic profile data — your choices, vectors, and profile snapshots

Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR (performance of a contract).

Your account data is stored on our server for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion at any time (see “Your rights” below).

4. Contact

When you contact us via email, we process:

  • Your email address
  • The content of your message
  • Any information you voluntarily provide

Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to inquiries). We delete contact data after the purpose has been fulfilled, unless legal retention obligations apply (typically up to 6 months after the last exchange).

5. What LIUBA does NOT do

  • We do not use cookies for tracking
  • We do not use Google Analytics or any third-party analytics services
  • We do not share data with third parties for advertising purposes
  • We do not sell or trade personal data
  • We do not build advertising profiles
  • We do not use social media tracking pixels

6. Your rights under GDPR

You have the right to:

  • Access your stored personal data (Art. 15 GDPR)
  • Rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
  • Deletion of your data (“right to be forgotten”, Art. 17 GDPR)
  • Restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
  • Data portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format (Art. 20 GDPR)
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21 GDPR)
  • Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing (Art. 7 (3) GDPR)
  • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR)

For the free flow: all data is in your browser. Clear localStorage to delete it.

For premium accounts: contact us at art@liuba.pro to request access, export, or deletion of your data.

7. Data security

We use appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction, or unauthorized access. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments.

8. Newsletter / Waitlist

When you join our waitlist via the form on the website, we store your email address to inform you when new features become available. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR (consent). You can unsubscribe at any time by contacting us at art@liuba.pro.

9. Third-party services

All fonts are hosted locally on our server. No connections to Google or other third-party font services are established when you visit this website.

10. Changes

This privacy policy may be updated to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements. The current version is always available at liuba.pro/privacy/.
